RoHS Directive 2011/65

The RoHS Directive 2011/65 contains regulations regarding the restrictions on the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. Electrical and electronic equipment are devices that operate on electrical currents or electromagnetic fields with a voltage of up to 1 000 volrs at alternating current or 1 500 volts at direct current. The RoHS Directive sets limits on the us of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB and PBDE’s in electrical and electronic equipment.
